Built Better. Live Better.

High-quality custom homes, laneway houses, and renovations
designed for modern families across generations.

Our commitment to thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship is at the heart of every home we create.

Proudly rooted in Maple Ridge, we build exceptional homes throughout the city and surrounding communities, including Pitt Meadows, the Tri-Cities (Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Port Moody), Langley, and Mission.

We help you get the best from the land and life you’ve worked hard to create.

For some, that means designing and building a forever home from the ground up. For others, it’s creating space for aging parents, returning adult children, or generating a second income.

Whatever the reason, it’s a big decision — one that deserves a builder who sees the full picture and gets the details right.

That’s what we do — from concept to completion, with care, precision, and pride

FAQ

How do I communicate with Koru?

During the design and planning phase, email is preferred. Once construction begins, we use a CRM software for messaging, documents, photos, change orders,  and updates.

Who will I be communicating with during my project?

Your Project Manager is your main point of contact during construction. You’ll also get to know the Site Foreman, who handles day-to-day decisions.

When will my project be finished?

You can move in after final occupancy and a walk-through. Please don’t schedule major life events around projected move-in dates — quality takes time.

Will my project increase in price?

In all honesty, it probably will. Most clients request additional work once construction is underway. A good rule of thumb: fewer changes mean lower costs and faster timelines.

What will my house look like during construction?

Your property will be an active construction site — inside and out. We take every precaution to protect your home, including installing dust walls and floor coverings, maintaining a clean workspace throughout the project, and keeping you informed with clear, timely communication. We’re committed to minimizing disruption and treating your space with care.

What will my house look like at the end?

We schedule a professional clean and final walkthrough before handover. You’ll get a clean, finished home ready for move-in.

Can I make changes during the project?

Yes — but all changes must go through your Project Manager. We’ll issue a change order for approval before moving forward.

What kind of delays can happen?

City inspections, subcontractor scheduling, material delays, or unexpected on-site findings are common causes of delays. When these arise, we communicate promptly and adapt quickly to keep your project moving forward with minimal disruption.

Will everything go perfectly?

Probably not — and that’s part of the process. With so many elements at play in a custom build, unexpected issues can arise. When they do, we solve them efficiently and keep your project progressing smoothly.

Is building or renovating an emotional process?

From excitement to frustration to absolute elation, it’s all part of the journey. We’ve done this many times and will walk you through every step.
